Hi,

That is the outstanding translation I've ever heard.

  1. The first sign should read "Guilin Two Rivers Four Lakes Construction Project Headquarters". Can anybody else translate the others?

  2. The second one is….., I think the translation is fine, if I have to elaborate it, the Chinese sign means “management based on scientific data and quality of product or service comes first”

The third one means “Work safely and be polite”

The forth one means “Work in progress and No entrance”

Some times, the Chinese can be very simple in signs, titles or advertisements. We Chinese will be able to catch the meaning easily, but it is difficult to translate into similar short sentences in English to match the short Chinese. That is one of the reasons that you see a lot of funny signs in English.
