What a warm day! The sun was shining. So I decided to visit to Daxu Ancient Town with my friends on Jan. 31st. Daxu Ancient Town was built in 200, 15 kilometers away from the city of Guilin. It took us 30 minutes to arrive there. The scenery is very beautiful. The narrow street is paved stone blocks and the houses on both sides are well preserved. The river is clear so you can see the bottom. We can’t help taking lots of photos.
There is a small village near Daxu Ancient Town. The farmers planted a lot of strawberries. The citizens in Guilin always go there for picking the strawberries in weekends. You can buy them that are packed, or you can pick them by yourself. People liked picking by themselves especially for the children. I had picked 2 kilograms and shared with my friends. The strawberries are ripe. It tasted delicious!
